A NVIDIA RTX 3060 paired with a Intel Core i5-13600K lands around 96 fps in Helldivers 2 at 1080p with Medium textures, Low shadows and DLSS Performance. Ray tracing is left off on this pairing. These values come from the same model the interactive optimizer uses, applied to this exact hardware pair rather than a generic preset.

Your GPU is limiting FPS here
NVIDIA RTX 3060 is holding back your Intel Core i5-13600K at 1080p in Helldivers 2. A better GPU could get you closer to ~115 fps at these settings.
Estimate only — based on a 20% uplift for a moderate GPU bottleneck, not a measured benchmark.

Helldivers 2 scales with chaos. A tutorial run tells you nothing; a level 8 bug breach with four players, orbital strikes and a hundred simultaneous enemies is the real workload, and it is dominated by particle effects rather than terrain or textures.
For that reason the effects and particle settings are the ones to cut first. Aiming feels dramatically better at a locked 90 FPS on medium settings than at a swinging 60–120 on high.
Covers live four-player missions on high difficulties, where particle and enemy counts are far above the tutorial.
