Grand Theft Auto V remains easy to run in its base configuration and surprisingly hard to run at the top of its advanced graphics section. Extended distance scaling and extended shadow distance can cut the frame rate in half on their own while changing very little in normal play.

The built-in benchmark also flatters your setup: it does not reproduce the traffic and pedestrian density of downtown Los Santos, and it certainly does not reproduce a full Online lobby. Test where you actually play.
