A NVIDIA RTX 5070 paired with a AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D lands around 38 fps in Hogwarts Legacy at 1440p with Ultra textures, High shadows and DLSS Quality. Ray tracing is set to Medium. These values come from the same model the interactive optimizer uses, applied to this exact hardware pair rather than a generic preset.

Your GPU is limiting FPS here
NVIDIA RTX 5070 is holding back your AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D at 1440p in Hogwarts Legacy. A better GPU could get you closer to ~46 fps at these settings.
Estimate only — based on a 20% uplift for a moderate GPU bottleneck, not a measured benchmark.

Hogwarts Legacy is remembered less for its frame rate than for its hitching. The castle and Hogsmeade stream a lot of geometry quickly, and on 8 GB cards with high textures the result is a stutter that no amount of GPU power fixes. Getting the texture setting inside your VRAM budget is the whole game here.
Ray-traced reflections are the other trap. They are among the most expensive options in any PC release of their generation and give very little back in a game played mostly in daylight interiors and countryside.
Covers the Unreal Engine 4 PC build. Hogsmeade and the castle interiors are the reference scenes because of their streaming load.
